What is Aloe vera?
Aloe vera is a plant species of the genus Aloe. It is well known for its succulent leaves and widely used among many beauty products in the world. There are many claims about the therapeutic benefits of this plant. However, there is little scientific evidence to backup those claims. Commonly, new studies contradict the positive claims of prior studies.
You may find that some beverages, body lotions and ointments, contain it as one of their key ingredients. Although there is little scientific evidence to backup its benefits, companies still use it on their products.
Aloe Vera is of high nutritional value. It’s rich in vitamins A, C, E y B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12. Aloe vera also contains some minerals.
